My Knitting Box

My Husband bought a cycle helmet that came in a really nice, sturdy box that was cut on the diagonal. It was just a great size for storing things in, you know, to pop beside the sofa!

So, I covered it with some really nice flocked paper I had. I use it for knitting bits 'n' bobs. I've covered other boxes with wallpaper samples from DIY stores, which add great texture and best of all are FREE! Use a good double sided tape and don't be stingy with it!

I love this box! It's so pretty and such a good idea. I've got a house full of wool and knitting needles at the moment and it's everywhere so I think I'm going to have a go at making something like this!
